Warning: Thai Consular Services Are Now Scrutinising DTV Applications Involving Vietnam Transit & Fake Documents

Thai Consular Services have identified a growing pattern of visa agencies directing Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) applicants to transit through Vietnam in an attempt to obtain the visa.

These agencies are under active scrutiny. Consular officers have recognised that certain agents are manufacturing fake supporting documents to push applications through, including:

  • Fabricated bank statements
  • Fake course acceptance letters / enrolment documents
  • Other falsified evidence designed to meet DTV requirements

Applications linked to these practices are now being heavily scrutinised and rejected.

Important: You are fully responsible for every document submitted in your name.

If your agent provides false or forged paperwork โ€” even without your direct knowledge โ€” you are still considered complicit. Thai immigration and consular authorities treat the submission of fake documents as the applicantโ€™s own wrongdoing. This can result in:

  • Immediate rejection of your DTV application
  • Future visa bans or heightened scrutiny on any Thai visa application
  • Potential legal consequences under Thai immigration law

Do not allow any agency to route you through Vietnam, create โ€œconvenientโ€ documents, or promise guaranteed approval based on fabricated evidence. Legitimate DTV applications do not require transit through Vietnam or the production of false paperwork.

If you have already been approached with this method, or if you suspect your documents may not be genuine, contact a reputable specialist immediately and DO NOTย  proceed.
