About Migrify

Migrify is an independent visa consultancy based in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, on the River Kwai, specialising in the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). We prepare and guide your application from start to finish, and we host in-house residential programmes at DuenShine Resort.

What the DTV is

  • The DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) is a 5-year, multiple-entry visa.
  • It allows a stay of up to 180 days per entry, extendable once per entry for a further 180 days at a Thai immigration office (extension fee around 1,900 THB).
  • Applications are made from outside Thailand. With Migrify you apply through our website and we handle the embassy/consulate or e-Visa submission for you.
  • It is not a work permit. You may work remotely for foreign employers or foreign clients, but not for Thai companies or Thai clients.

Who qualifies

Two routes

  • Workcation โ€” remote employees, freelancers and business owners whose income and clients are outside Thailand.
  • Soft Power โ€” people joining approved Thai activities such as Muay Thai training, Thai cookery courses, or medical treatment.

Baseline requirements (both routes)

  • At least 20 years old.
  • Proof of around 500,000 THB (or equivalent) held in your account for roughly 3 months โ€” shown with a bank statement.
  • A clean Thai immigration record (no serious overstays or blacklisting).
  • Evidence for your route: employment/freelance proof for Workcation, or course/medical enrolment for Soft Power.

Dependents

A spouse and children under 20 may usually apply as dependents alongside the main applicant, with the relevant relationship documents.

Costs & fees

  • Migrify service fee: 9,500 THB.
  • Thai government visa fee: 10,000 THB.
  • Total with Migrify: 19,500 THB all-in.
  • The 9,500 THB service fee is waived when you book one of our in-house courses.

Courses & qualifying activities

For the Soft Power route, Migrify arranges qualifying Thai activities โ€” such as Muay Thai training, Thai cookery, and medical/wellness programmes โ€” at a range of locations across Thailand, with our flagship base at DuenShine Resort on the River Kwai.

  • Courses are offered by location โ€” the activities available and current availability vary from place to place.
  • Cost varies from course to course (and by location and duration), so exact pricing is provided on request.
  • Booking a qualifying course waives Migrify's 9,500 THB service fee, so you add only the 10,000 THB government fee.

You apply through Migrify, on our website. Start with our online application form and we handle everything from there: we prepare your documents, match you to the most suitable Thai embassy/consulate for your nationality, and submit the application on your behalf (the DTV is processed from outside Thailand). Accommodation sourcing

Migrify can source accommodation for DTV clients โ€” you don't need to find a place on your own. We arrange long-stay rentals suited to the DTV's 180-day stays, from city living to something more idyllic.

  • Property types: Pool Villa, House, Condominium, Homestay, Resort โ€” or that idyllic bamboo-designed house on the river or by the beach. The choice is yours.
  • Matched to your preferred location and your monthly budget (THB per month).
  • Popular areas: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin, and Kanchanaburi (our home base on the River Kwai) โ€” plus riverside and beachfront settings.

How to request it

Choose "Yes please" at Step 9 of the application form, or simply ask us. To get started we need three things: your preferred property type (Pool Villa, House, Condominium, Homestay, Resort, or a riverside/beachfront bamboo house), your preferred area/city, and your monthly budget. A Migrify case manager then sends suitable options to review, with no obligation. There is no charge to receive options โ€” rental prices depend on the property, area, and length of stay.

Why submitting correctly matters

Most failed DTV applications come down to simple, avoidable mistakes made by the applicant โ€” and they are costly. When a consulate refuses an application the fee is non-refundable, and consular services do not give a reason for the refusal, so the applicant is left without knowing what went wrong or how to fix it.
